SMOKY & PERSISTENT

On the nose, an alluring perfume of wild blackberry, dark plum, woven with floral aromas of thyme, violet and elderberry. The terroir is omnipresent with its smoky and graphite notes. The attack on the palate is frank and direct, revealing full body, concentrated black-fruit layers and finely chiseled tannins. A mineral streak carries through to a long finish laced with spice and smoky herb. This wine of great persistence is a marvel of balance.
This wine benefits from being decanted into a carafe.

Vibe: A true tribute to Carignan, planted in 1902, powerful, richly textured but perfectly balanced. Perfect for contemplative sips and convivial meals.
